Application Structure Diagram

The diagram below illustrates how Business Application, Service, and enterprise level DB Schema components interact within the context of a scenario, as laid out on an n-tier distribution. It is one of the key diagrams for a use case realization. The components communicate via interfaces which represent integration patterns. For example, an interface stereotyped as <<ESB>> represents a communication via an enterprise service bus. This pattern is expanded on the Application Integration Diagram. The diagram also has an ETL job that transfers data from the Member Management DB Schema to the Program Development DB Schema. The net effect of the all the communications can be seen in the Logical Dependencies Report.
